In other batting news, Eli Colegrove was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Timothy Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 9-12 otherwise. Zachary Lombardo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Timothy Christian pushed their record up to 14-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for St. Edward, their loss dropped their record down to 1-25.
