It was a good run, but Bullard unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madera Coyotes. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bullard's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Madera, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Bullard and Madera should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Knights will square off against Fresno at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (57 vs. 539). Meanwhile, Madera (ranked 104th) will meet San Joaquin Memorial (ranked 314th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
