Basketball Recap: Hillsboro/Central Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Hillsboro/Central Valley had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 69-58 win over the Valley City Hi-Liners on Tuesday. The H-CV Burros have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hi-Liners, too.

Hillsboro/Central Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Valley City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Hillsboro/Central Valley will head out on the road to challenge Four Winds/Minnewaukan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Four Winds/Minnewaukan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Valley City, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wahpeton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Valley City has given up an average of 57 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
