Baseball Recap: Leakey Comes Up Short

Leakey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Dilley Wolves.

Jayden Pichardo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Leakey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Dilley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

When Leakey and Dilley next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Leakey will try to stop Bandera's four-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dilley will square off against Poth and their six-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
