Volleyball Recap: Strafford's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Strafford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Eugene Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Strafford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklynne Lumley, who had four digs and three aces.

Lumley wasn't the only good servers: Strafford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eugene only served one.

Strafford's record is now 23-3-2. As for Eugene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Coincidentally, Strafford and Eugene will both be playing Boonville the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Pirates at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
