Football Recap: Indian Hills Comes Up Short

Indian Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fair Lawn Cutters. That's two games in a row now that the Braves have lost by just one point.

Fair Lawn found their leader in freshman Lillian Lopunsak, who rushed for 103 yards and one score on only nine carries, and also caught one touchdown.

Indian Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Indian Hills is set to take on their familiar foe Ramapo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fair Lawn will face off against rival Varsity Opponent at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
