Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mountain View lost against Rocky Mountain back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mavericks fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 3-2. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mountain View actually scored more points across those five sets (99-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 15-25, 18-25, 15-12.

Racquel Gauna paced Mountain View's offense, picking up 15 kills. Gauna got some help from Alyssa Nelson and her 21 assists.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 16-15-2. As for Rocky Mountain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor Rocky Mountain have any future games scheduled.
