Football Game Preview: Forsyth Panthers vs. Fair Grove Eagles

Forsyth is 1-7 against Fair Grove since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Forsyth has given up an average of 31.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Forsyth ended up a good deal behind Strafford and lost 42-26.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fair Grove). They blew past Reeds Spring 56-28 on Friday.

Fair Grove now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Forsyth, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Forsyth took a serious blow against Fair Grove in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 48-13. Thankfully for the Panthers, Spensar Seiger (who threw for 124 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 51 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
