Softball Game Preview: South Webster Jeeps vs. Eastern Eagles

The South Webster Jeeps will challenge the Eastern Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, South Webster didn't have quite enough to beat Northwest and fell 3-2. The Jeeps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addi Claxon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Jadyn Young also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Valley hit Eastern with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

Kami Pollard made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

South Webster's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.

South Webster came out on top in a nail-biter against Eastern in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Jeeps have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
