Football Recap: Fort Walton Beach Takes a Loss

Fort Walton Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 18-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Choctawhatchee Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 25-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Choctawhatchee can attribute much of their success to Diaris Morales, who threw for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

Fort Walton Beach now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Choctawhatchee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coming up, Fort Walton Beach will be playing at home against Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Choctawhatchee, they will square off against East Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
