Highland is 7-2 against Lone Tree since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies will be playing at home against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. Highland will be strutting in after a victory while Lone Tree will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Highland was able to grind out a solid win over Hillcrest Academy, taking the game 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Lone Tree fell victim to Wapello and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-0 to the Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lone Tree's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Highland got the 'W' in their previous matchup on June 4th against Lone Tree by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
