Volleyball Recap: Los Angeles CES Unicorns vs. University Wildcats
Los Angeles CES lost against University back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Unicorns lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Unicorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Los Angeles CES was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.
Los Angeles CES' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11-1 record this season.
Los Angeles CES and University will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Unicorns see the court they'll take on Palisades at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for University, their break will end when they face Harvard-Westlake at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
