Eastlake has gone a perfect 3-0 against La Costa Canyon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Titans will be taking part in a tournament against the Mavericks at 11:00 a.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Eastlake sitting on seven straight victories and La Costa Canyon on four.
Eastlake barely beat Hilltop the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 11-1 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kaili Balajadia tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eastlake let Jiselle Garcia and Mackenzie Olshenskie run wild. Garcia went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Olshenskie went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryn Grayson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Eastlake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Costa Canyon). They never let Mission Vista get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Mavericks with their most commanding win of the season.
Gracie Camacho made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Camacho was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Addy Brown was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Malia Whitehouse was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Eastlake pushed their record up to 15-4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for La Costa Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-1.
Eastlake came out on top in a nail-biter against La Costa Canyon in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mavericks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
