Baseball Game Preview: Palmyra Panthers vs. Riverside Rams

The Palmyra Panthers will challenge the Riverside Rams at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 12 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Palmyra and four for Riverside.

On Thursday, Palmyra came up short against Mastery and fell 9-4.

Justin Dellisanti made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Declan Sharkey also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Riverside came up short against Delran on Friday, falling 9-1.

Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Palmyra skirted past Riverside 5-4 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
