Recap: Wyandanch Warriors vs. Kings Park Kingsmen
The Wyandanch Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. Their tough 49-24 defeat to Kings Park might stick with them for a while. Wyandanch lost against Kings Park in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-24 score last time.
Kings Park got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gianna Zawol out in front who scored 12 points along with six steals. Ryan Currier was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 16 rebounds and five blocks.
Wyandanch's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kings Park, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wyandanch is on the road again on Thursday and play against Miller Place at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for Kings Park, they will square off against Amityville Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
