Soccer Game Preview: Riverton vs. Green River

Riverton is 0-4 against Green River since April of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Wolverines will host Wolves at 11:00 a.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Riverton took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Jackson Hole, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolverines sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Broncs on April 10th. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Riverton were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Green River made sure to put some goals up on the board against Evanston on Thursday. They blew past the Devils 14-2. It was an even better day for Isa Vasco as she scored 12 goals for her team.

Riverton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Green River, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
