Declo lost to Nampa Christian two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hornets managed a 62-58 win over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Declo's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Nampa Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.

Declo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-45 win against Melba on the 20th. As for Nampa Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
