With a playoff win on the line, Kinston rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns, posting a 76-46 win. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, NCSSM: Durham still got an impressive performance from Ethann Burkett, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 23 points. Burkett's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Chris Chen, who posted seven points and four steals.

Kinston has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for NCSSM: Durham and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Kinston has already played their next contest, a 53-51 loss against Northeastern on the 28th. NCSSM: Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
