Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Canute's Tenth in Last 11 Outings

Canute won the last time they faced Burns Flat-Dill City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Canute Trojans walked away with a 60-50 victory over the Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Eagles are ranked 332nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Canute has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Burns Flat-Dill City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Canute didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-43 win against Sentinel on the 25th. As for Burns Flat-Dill City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View-Gotebo at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
