After a string of eight wins, Atlantic Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 13-7 to The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers. On The Pilgrim Academy's side, Abby Remlein made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Remlein has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
