Basketball Recap: Mountain Range's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Mountain Range picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They took down the Steamboat Springs Sailors 48-30.

Mountain Range's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josieraye Running Wolf, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 14 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Delilah Lucero, who went 7 of 17 on her way to 15 points along with six boards and four steals.

Mountain Range's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Steamboat Springs, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Mountain Range didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-41 defeat against Fairview on the 17th. As for Steamboat Springs, they will head out to challenge Golden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
