Softball Preview: Yucca Valley Trojans vs. Arroyo Valley Hawks
The Yucca Valley Trojans will face off against the Arroyo Valley Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Yucca Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Yucca Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 25-7 margin over Xavier Prep on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Hadyn Ross was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk). In other batting news, Yucca Valley let Tayla Monroy and Aryssa Patterson run wild.
