Preview: Cardington-Lincoln Pirates vs. Northmor Golden Knights        
        
		
            
 Cardington-Lincoln is 9-1 against Northmor since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Cardington-Lincoln Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northmor Golden Knights at 7:30  p.m. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Cardington-Lincoln waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with two straight wins  but they left with three. They managed a  52-46 victory over Danville.
 Cardington-Lincoln's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Abigail Hardwick, who  scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was  Madison Caulkins, who  scored ten points.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Northmor beat Mt. Gilead 31-27 on Friday. The  victory was just what Northmor needed coming off of a  52-25 loss in their prior  contest.
 Northmor can attribute much of their success to  Madison Simpson, who  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals. Simpson has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last five times she's  played.  Shelby Cooper was another key contributor,  scoring five points along with nine  rebounds and three  steals.
 Cardington-Lincoln is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Northmor, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
Keep an eye on the arc in  Friday's  contest:  Cardington-Lincoln  have been dynamite from deep this season,  having  only  made 33.1% of their  threes per game. It's a different story for Northmor, though, as  they've  only  made 24.1% of their  threes per game this season. Given Cardington-Lincoln's sizeable advantage in that area, Northmor will need to find a way to close that gap.
 Everything came up roses for Cardington-Lincoln against Northmor in their previous meeting  back in December of 2023 as the  squad secured a  56-24 win. With Cardington-Lincoln ahead  35-12 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
