Soccer Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Williamsville

With a playoff win on the line, Williamsville rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth Cardinals get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Ella Plumb was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The victory made it two in a row for Williamsville and bumps their season record up to 18-5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-11.

Coming up, Williamsville will venture away from home to take on Rochester at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
