Archbishop McNicholas came tearing into Saturday's matchup with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Anderson Raptors by a score of 3-1. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raptors, too.

Archbishop McNicholas walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 24-26, 25-17, 25-14.

Sarah Hutchingson paced Archbishop McNicholas' offense, picking up 14 kills. Hutchingson got some help from Allie Runte and her 21 assists. Runte was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Archbishop McNicholas' record now sits at 18-1. As for Anderson, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-6.

Coming up, Archbishop McNicholas will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson, they are taking a road trip to challenge Little Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
