East View entered their tilt with Elgin on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Elgin Wildcats 71-36. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-12.

East View pushed their record up to 23-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points per game. As for Elgin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, East View and Elgin will both be playing Hendrickson the next time they take the court. East View will head out to face Hendrickson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Elgin will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
