Basketball Recap: Williams Skates Past Faith Christian with Ease

Williams can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-10 win over the Faith Christian Lions. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 52-48 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2019.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williams to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miguel Murillo, who posted 18 points. Diego Ambriz was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Williams' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Faith Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Williams wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-37 victory against Round Valley on the 13th. Faith Christian has also already played their next contest, a 49-17 defeat against Princeton on the 13th.
