Dimond faced West Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Lynx sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over the Eagles. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-3 victory on Friday.

Dimond let Gase Faapouli and Shane Flannery run wild. Faapouli went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Flannery went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave Faapouli a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Dittman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Dimond is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for West Anchorage, they dropped their record down to 6-10-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Dimond wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Service on the 28th. West Anchorage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
