Baseball Recap: Muleshoe Comes Up Short

Muleshoe couldn't beat Roosevelt on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the sixth inning. The Mules fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 10-9. The Mules were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Muleshoe has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Roosevelt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Muleshoe will take on rival Littlefield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt is set to face off against their familiar foe Friona at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
