Volleyball Recap: Bolles Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bolles came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Fleming Island Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Bolles was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Maddie Culbreth, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Bolles' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fleming Island, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolles will take on Archbishop McCarthy in a tournament on Friday. As for Fleming Island, they will challenge Mandarin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
