The West Valley Rams didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Central Valley Bears on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 41-36 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

West Valley found their leader in sophomore Ryker Warner, who rushed for 238 yards and one score while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 60 receiving yards and one TD. That receiving touchdown marked the first that Warner has hauled in this season. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Murillo, who threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

West Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 254 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Central Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Sharif Wade and Noah Krogh. Wade threw for 252 yards and a pair of TDs, while Krogh picked up 130 receiving yards and one score.

The win got West Valley back to even at 5-5. As for Central Valley, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.
