Soccer Recap: Grove Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Grove Ridgerunners came up short against the McAlester Buffaloes and fell 3-1.

Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for McAlester, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tahlequah at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. McAlester also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Poteau at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th.
