It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but West Field ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Northridge Knights. That's two games straight that West Field have won by just one goal.

Emerson Joseph and Ellie Chugg scored both of West Field's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

The victory made it two in a row for West Field and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Northridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

West Field will venture away from home to challenge Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Field will be up against Roy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.29 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
