Broome hadn't done well against Blue Ridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Centurions walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Centurions: when they faced off against the Tigers on Tuesday, they had to take a 8-7 loss.

The win made it two in a row for Broome and bumps their season record up to 10-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Blue Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season.

Broome will challenge Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
