Baseball Recap: Rush Springs Takes a Loss

Rush Springs lost against Ringling last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Redskins came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 10-2. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cade Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Rush Springs' loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Ringling, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Coincidentally, Rush Springs and Ringling will both be playing Velma-Alma the next time they take the field. The Redskins will head out to face the Comets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Devils will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
