Basketball Game Preview: GRACE Christian Eagles vs. Cary Christian Knights

The GRACE Christian Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cary Christian Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. GRACE Christian is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

GRACE Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Trinity Academy on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. GRACE Christian came up short against Trinity Academy, falling 53-30. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-9.

Meanwhile, Cary Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Wake Christian Academy on Tuesday, taking the game 41-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Cary Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for GRACE Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

GRACE Christian and Cary Christian were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but GRACE Christian came up empty-handed after a 34-33 loss. Can GRACE Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
