Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Country Day School's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Charlotte Country Day School waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cannon Cougars 3-0. For the Buccaneers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Charlotte Country Day School walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-21.

Sanaa Mohammed paced Charlotte Country Day School's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mohammed got some help from Lauren Beach and her 26 assists. Mohammed was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Charlotte Country Day School now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Cannon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Charlotte Country Day School will take on rival Providence Day at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cannon is set to face off against their familiar foe Charlotte Latin at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
