Basketball Game Preview: Monahans Loboes vs. Presidio Blue Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Monahans Loboes will get right back to it and host the Presidio Blue Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Monahans' tournament run continued when they took on Permian on Friday. Monahans was outmatched by Permian and fell 66-17. The Loboes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Presidio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-32 heartbreaker at the hands of Monahans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Blue Devils have suffered since January 16th.

Monahans' defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Presidio, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Monahans came out on top in a nail-biter against Presidio in their previous matchup on Thursday, sneaking past 34-32. Will Monahans repeat their success, or does Presidio have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
