Soccer Recap: Chowchilla Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Chowchilla Tribe came up short against the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers and fell 4-2. The Tribe have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexy Herrera and Justin Palafox-Villareal scored both of Chowchilla's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Chowchilla's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-3. As for San Joaquin Memorial, they moved to 5-8-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Chowchilla will host Sierra at 5:45 p.m. on January 14th. As for San Joaquin Memorial, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the San Joaquin Memorial take on the Sunnyside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sunnyside's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
