Football Recap: Callisburg Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Callisburg duked it out with Gunter on Friday. The Wildcats were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 43-6. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 613th, while the Tigers are ranked 64th).

Callisburg now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Gunter, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Callisburg and Gunter will both be playing Howe the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
