Basketball Recap: Narraguagus Comes Up Short

Narraguagus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 49-39 to the Jonesport-Beals Royals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-46 back in January.

Narraguagus' loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Jonesport-Beals, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Narraguagus will venture away from home to face off against Deer Isle-Stonington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jonesport-Beals has already played their next contest (against Sumner), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
