There's no place like home for Ranchview, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Hampton Prep with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with Hampton Prep: they've now won six in a row.

While Ranchview won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Gabriella Ottley paced Ranchview's offense, picking up five kills. Ottley got some help from Player #3 and her 13 assists. Emily Vu controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-19-2. As for Hampton Prep, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Ranchview and Hampton Prep will both be playing Williams Prep the next time they take the court. The Wolves will host the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hampton Prep will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
