Volleyball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bellefontaine Chieftains. The Pirates were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chieftains from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14, 25-14.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bellefontaine, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Riverside will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Botkins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bellefontaine, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Wapakoneta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
