Basketball Game Preview: Hawley Bearcats vs. Cisco Loboes

Hawley has won seven straight games at home, while Cisco has won seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Hawley Bearcats will host the Cisco Loboes at 6:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Hawley was fully in charge, breezing past Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene 54-8. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while the Eagles are ranked 1460th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Cisco against Anson on Friday as the team secured a 79-21 win.

Hawley is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Cisco, their victory bumped their record up to 23-3.
