While Basehor-Linwood's victory against Piper wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats skirted past the Pirates 7-6. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Basehor-Linwood now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Piper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Basehor-Linwood will be playing at home against Turner on Thursday. The Bobcats are facing the Golden Bears at the right time seeing as the Golden Bears are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Piper, they will challenge St. James Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
