Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newton). They blew past the Hesston Swathers 12-1 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Railroaders as it put an end to their 11-game losing streak.

Newton's win bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Hesston, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Newton has already played their next game (against Hutchinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hesston, they will challenge Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
