Basketball Recap: Old Mill's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Old Mill came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 72-59 win over the Arundel Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-53 back in December of 2024.

Old Mill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brian Poore out in front who posted 18 points. Poore's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Bryce Daugherty was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Despite the loss, Arundel still got an impressive performance from Javeon Reed, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Reed a new career-high.

Old Mill pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Arundel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Old Mill has already played their next game (against Southern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Arundel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 83-58 defeat against Annapolis on the 15th.
