Cromwell's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Westbrook Knights 13-2. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cromwell let Chloe Crawford and Keria Beyer run wild. Crawford went 3-for-4 with three runs and one triple, while Beyer got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Alexis Wiatrak also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Cromwell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Cromwell now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Westbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cromwell beat the Knights by a score of 13-2 later that day.
