Hillsdale has gone 9-1 against Waynedale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hillsdale has six straight victories, Waynedale has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Hillsdale beats Waynedale with 35 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Falcons put the hurt on Smithville with a sharp 35-10 win on Friday. Fans of the Falcons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Waynedale scored first but ultimately less than Norwayne in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by the Bobcats and fell 48-10. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 614th, while the Bobcats are ranked 264th).

Hillsdale will have to keep a close watch on Micah Raber and Maddox Kidd, a pair of players who had a big impact on Waynedale's prior game. Raber picked up 151 receiving yards, while Kidd threw for 175 yards on ten of 32 attempts. Raber showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 58 yards.

Waynedale's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hillsdale, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Hillsdale took their win against Waynedale in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 34-14 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
