 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Colusa had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  an  8-1 margin over the Casa Roble Rams. Considering Colusa has won 19 matches by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Luke Kalfsbeek was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 11 over 5.2 innings pitched. Kalfsbeek has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Kalfsbeek was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Seth Kalisuch, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Will McCoy, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Casa Roble's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  JOSEPH DEXTER, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base.
 The  win was  the 15th in a row for Colusa, bringing their record for this year to 28-3. As for Casa Roble, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-10.
 Colusa will head out on the road to  take on  Piedmont at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Colusa is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Casa Roble does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
